Meet Natalie
Our founder and managing partner Natalie Levy spent seven years as a derivatives trader on Wall Street and in private equity in San Francisco. She’s made 45 private investments and 6 exits, at an average return of over 20x. She’s the author of Cash is Queen: A Conscious Journey in Angel Investing.
In all those deal rooms, she never found a culture that inspired her or where she was celebrated for showing up authentically. She watched women outwork everyone yet have real challenges navigating to strategic positions of influence like stepping into investing.
In 2019, after losing her mother to suicide, she stopped waiting for that room to exist and built and launched her own.
She started She’s Independent so that we can show up as ourselves. So that our voices, our dollars, and our influence are seen and felt. So that we can invest in the world we want to live in.
