NATALIE LEVY

Founder & Managing Partner

Natalie Levy is the Founder of She’s Independent, a women-first investment group offering an entirely new way to support women’s financial independence and influence through investing and board placements. As a member-led investment group, She’s Independent marries empowerment and action, with the ultimate mission of closing the power gap in investing by getting more women on the cap table, in the boardroom, and into positions of influence. Over the next 12 months, She’s Independent plans to deploy over $2M of capital collectively, and has invested in 13 deals since its formation in 2022.

An accomplished engineer turned Wall Street derivatives trader, investor, and advisor, Natalie has over a decade of tech operational experience, a portfolio of 45 seed through later stage private investments, and has experienced 6 exits in her growth technology portfolio at an average return of over 20X.

She resides in Boulder, CO with her loving rescue pup Beans and is passionate about gender equity and mental health awareness.

LINDSEY ROHDE

Community

Lindsey is a community strategist, through and through, bringing together over a decade of experience in corporate, venture capital, and startup realms. Her jam? Weaving people, operations, and growth strategies into collective success. Within She’s Independent you can find Lindsey working on our member experience, community growth, and meaningful engagement!

Lindsey is all about being the ‘fun’ mom (her son says she’s earned the title). She’s often hitting the slopes as an avid skier, hiker, cortado drinker, and giving her time as a dedicated ski instructor volunteer with Ignite Adaptive Sports.

RACHEL MEHTA

Vice President of Deal Sourcing, Partner

Curiosity and a love of learning led Rachel to angel investing and She’s Independent. Her early career was spent in libraries and museums, but later pivoted to sales and marketing, working for JPMorgan Chase and Bayard Advertising, among others. She later established and ran a marketing agency for 9 years, employing at-home parents with part-time projects to keep their design portfolios and resumes fresh. Supporting clients in a myriad of industries like cybersecurity, manufacturing, and healthcare, she loves to brainstorm with business owners and help them network.

Rachel lives in NJ with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves to travel and recently went to Cuba to meet with its Jewish community leaders.

As a visionary in global health and life sciences management, with over 20 years of expertise in the public and private sectors, I am passionate about leveraging emerging digital health and tech innovations to address complex scientific and public health challenges.

My forte? Empowering innovators by utilizing my extensive knowledge, skills, and network to access crucial funding. I excel in building connections and bridging my network with like-minded visionaries to collaboratively tackle formidable challenges.

ALANNA JONES

Business and Financial Operations Analyst

Alanna Jones is starting her career in HR, driven by her passion for building connections, empowering others, and making a positive impact. In her full-time role as a Benefits Administrator, she works with employees and clients managing benefit programs. She graduated from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, where she was recognized as one of the 2024 Best & Brightest Business Majors.

Alanna is based in Denver and enjoys rock climbing, skiing, running, traveling, and spending time with friends.

PREETI SALDANHA

Community & Content Creator

A passion for design and building community led Preeti to She’s Independent. In her full-time role at CBRE as part of the Location Strategy Advisory practice she helps clients make data-driven decisions about where to grow. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Denver with a dual degree in Business Management and Vocal Performance, a pairing that reflects how she approaches everything: with an analytical mind and a creative heart.

At SI, Preeti brings the community to life through design and storytelling. She creates the content, visuals, and communications that keep members connected, and she loves turning an idea into something people can see, share, and feel part of.

Creativity shows up in every part of Preeti’s life. She’s a signed model and crafts custom woodburned art. She lives in Los Angeles and is always up for a good adventure.
