She's Independent Investments offers companies financing, advisory services and board candidates from our member-led community focused on seed through series A deals.

We offer a path for learning and access and have an option to get involved even if you are not yet an accredited investor.

Launched in January 2022, She's Independent Investments has $1.5M that members plan to deploy collectively over the next 12 months and has already invested in 5 deals.

Club members see regular deal flow through quarterly club meetings and have the opportunity to invest on a deal-by-deal basis. Club members will have the opportunity to invest in businesses through a syndicate structure OR through direct investments with the business.

We are in the process of forming an advisory deal team with experienced investors to run a first pass at deals presented to the investing members.

Investment club members will see at least 8 deals annually. For reference, in 2022 members have already had access to 20+ deals and have invested in 5.

Please note that you must be an accredited investor to join our Investment Group as a contributing investor but those interested who are not yet accredited may join as an Investment Observer for learning and access.

Investment group members are welcome to participate actively or passively. Active participation offers club members the opportunity to earn deal carry (additional equity) on a deal-by-deal basis. 

Direct investments do not include fees of any kind. Syndication fees may be partially or fully covered by your annual membership fee. 

Our syndications charge a nominal carry. Please note that most investment clubs charge upwards of 20-25% for deal carry. We currently do not charge any management fees.

Course Creator and Founder Bio

Natalie Levy is an engineer and mathematician turned Wall Street derivatives trader, growth technology investor, and business-to-business (B2B) enterprise technology sales leader. She marries a deep understanding of data, data science, and technology paired with strong interpersonal skills. She has over a decade of angel investing experience and 20 years of hands-on operational experience through revenue execution, operational, and leadership roles selling into 34 countries. She experienced returns of 5-70x across all of her growth technology investments prior to 2018. She successfully exited 3 out of 20+ investments, and experienced liquidity opportunities through Series D and Series E financing rounds.

Following the loss of her mother to suicide in January 2019, Natalie launched She's Independent while she transitioned from corporate roles to a more entrepreneurial and balanced lifestyle. She grew through the loss and continues on her healing journey to discover what is authentically aligned and enjoys tapping into her professional superpowers that also highlight self-awareness and personal growth.

She's Independent launched its investment initiative in January of 2022. The club is rapidly scaling and deploying capital to seed and growth-stage businesses internationally. The VC funding and equity ownership gaps are real. Let's do something about it.

She's Independent Investments currently has approximately $1.5M in capital that members plan to deploy over the next 12 months. In addition to financing, the group offers advisory services and board placements to companies within its network.

Our members, predominantly womxn, come from a range of diverse backgrounds and are eager to learn, change power dynamics, and participate in deals. 

We typically focus on seed and pre-seed rounds but are open to a bit later stage where deals align with our interests. We've looked across industries but generally care about impact. The businesses do not need to be womxn-owned but we are passionate about gender equity and can offer companies access to skilled board members and advisors through our club.

Our process typically includes a virtual pitch to club members, which we like to record for those that can't attend live. If the group has enough interest we move forward into diligence which may include circulating questions by email, an additional phone call or two, and potentially connecting with your prospects, customers, or other investors.
