No Time for Celebration + Mental Health Matters

I was excited to read about a large raise and traction within a company I'd made an early investment in years ago. It has felt great to direct recent investments to diverse business owners and to those aimed at making positive impact, but yesterday was nothing to celebrate...
I moved to Boulder about 6 months ago. This place has felt like an oasis and a retreat, with incredible mountain views and outdoor access only minutes away.
As yesterday's events unfolded, it reminded me of losing my mom to a firearm. Why was she able to purchase a gun so easily and why don't we do more for our collective mental health here in the states?
I fully realize that this is a divisive issue, but I'm a fan of speaking up and advocating for change where it's clearly needed. Are you with me?
